Foreman is site software for Australian electrical, plumbing and other trade contractors running crews across several builders' sites. Crew clock in and out on their phone, the hours save against the job, and you export a CSV for payroll and invoicing. Your SWMS and pre-starts sit against every job too.

Sound familiar?

  • Timesheets arrive by text on Friday afternoon and you're guessing which job to bill the hours to.
  • Crews spread across four builders' sites, and the only way to know who's where is to ring round.
  • Every builder asks for your SWMS and toolbox talk records, and each one is in a different folder.

What you get

“We already use Procore for project management, but everything’s getting so complex. I needed something simple alongside it. Foreman has no bloat. Our site foreman picked it up straight away and the QR sign-in just worked.”

Questions from electrical and trade contractors

We induct on the builder's system. Do we still need Foreman?
Yes, for your side of the job. The builder's induction gets your crew through their gate. Foreman keeps your own records: who worked where, the hours on each job, your safety forms and the documents your crew need. On jobs where you run the site, your own QR induction is free and unlimited.
Can I see which job each person worked on?
Yes. Every shift is a diary entry against a job, with the crew member, date and hours. The Site diaries view filters by job, crew member and date range and shows a running total of hours, so you can check a week across every site before you run payroll.
Does Foreman do quoting or invoicing?
Foreman handles the site side of your business and runs alongside the software you already use for quotes and invoices. At the end of the week, filter the site diary by job and date and export a CSV with the hours, ready to drop into payroll or your invoicing.
How does pricing work for a trade business?
Your first job is free with every feature and unlimited users. After that it's $29 a month for each person with a login, or $23.20 billed yearly, so a crew of 10 with logins, you included, is $290 a month. People who only induct onto your jobs are never counted.
Do my crew need to install anything?
No. Foreman runs in the browser on any phone, so your crew open a link, log in and clock in. Photos they take in Foreman save straight to the job and are never written to their camera roll. It works on the old phone in the ute as well as a new one.
