Need an induction for the QR code to open?
Foreman gives every site its own induction link and print-ready QR signs. Workers scan, read your site documents and sign on their own phone. There’s no app to download, and every sign-on lands in a register for that site. Free on your first project, with unlimited inductions.
Start FreeQR site sign questions
- What link should the QR code open?
- Whatever workers need to complete before they start: usually your online induction form. Any web link works, so you can also point it at a document or a sign-in page.
- Do workers need an app to scan it?
- Most phones read QR codes with the built-in camera app. Workers point the camera at the sign and tap the link that appears.
- Does the QR code expire?
- No. The QR code holds the link itself, so it keeps working for as long as the link does. If you change the link, make a new sign.
- What size should I print it?
- A3 for the gate or fence, so it can be scanned from a step or two back. A4 works for the site office door or a lunch room. Put it in a sleeve or laminate it if it's going outside.
- Is the link I type stored anywhere?
- The QR code is made in your browser as you type. Close the page and it's gone, so save or print the sign first.
